Scott # 71 issued August 20th 1861. This is a used 30 cent orange, deep orange Benjamin Franklin stamp. It is perforated 12 and printed by the National Bank Note Co. This stamp has a fairly heavy cancellation, an 'unpunched' perf on the left and a very tiny tear at the top of the stamp which can be seen in both images.
