Scott # 78a issued in 1863. This is a used 24 cent grayish lilac George Washington stamp with a 2021 PSAG certificate. "it is genuine used with a Circle of Wedges cancel".
This stamp has a heavy Circle of Wedges fancy cancel and there is a stain, mostly on the back, with a pencil notation also on the back. The centering is not bad and there are no tears but there are some shorter perfs. which of course are visible in the images.
